Hugh’s News has received the following prayer request for Bishop Ronald W. Carpenter, Sr. on Tuesday evening, September 11, 2012, from Bishop Ray Boggs, Superintendent, Upper South Carolina Conference. I now quote from his e-mail to me:

Please join me in prayer for Bishop Ronald W. Carpenter, Sr.

We received an update from the family earlier this evening that Bishop Carpenter is battling dehydration, pneumonia and is very weak. Due to this infection and his weak condition at this time, it has been requested that he have no visitors, calls, etc.

You may send Bishop Carpenter and Ms. Nan a card of encouragement and prayer to P.O. Box 12609, Oklahoma City, OK 73157, United States. Thank you for your love and understanding in this.

“Dr. Carpenter, Ms. Nan and their family greatly appreciate the many, many expressions of love and kindness that you have shared with them in recent days. Please join with me as we believe together for the miraculous healing of our beloved Bishop!”
